CLUBS

The Tuesday Club activities are very popular. Each week volunteers from the community join with the teachers to provide instruction and guidance in subjects not usually available in the standard curriculum.
Past Clubs have included using the Internet, computer, glass painting, guitar, woodwork, French language, film making, painting, gardening, dance, and book reading.

The current clubs are:

The Drama Club, being run by community member Honor, with the assistance of student teacher Adam.
The Seed Raising Club, run by parent Caroline.
The Stained Glass Club, run by teacher Mr Mallaby and his friend Cookie.
Parent Theresa is teaching Papier-mache.

Some comments from Club members...

In Drama we act out small scenes, sometimes talking sometimes not. We use objects as imaginary props to help us act out situations. We act out different people or objects in a variety of situations.

Stained glass club

We are in Stained Glass every Tuesday 2 to 3 o'clock with Mr Mallaby and his friend, Cookie. We are making a stained glass star or windchime. It is lots of fun. We'll probably be finished our star in a couple of weeks. It is very good.

Seed raising club

The Seed club is run by Caroline. We have planted herbs, vegetables and trees. The good thing about this club is that you find out about different types of seeds.
